Cancellation and credit policy
If you cancel a class, you get credit for what you paid, to use on future bookings. How much depends on how early you cancel.
If you cancel
What happens depends on who cancels, not on how you paid. When you cancel, you get credit in your account, based on the timing below.
More than 48 hours before class
100% credit- Single class, paid by card
- 100% of what you paid, as credit
- Class from a pack
- The class goes back to your pack
- Membership
- Your spot is freed
From 48 to 24 hours before class
50% credit- Single class, paid by card
- 50% of what you paid, as credit
- Class from a pack
- 50% of the per-class pack cost, as credit
- Membership
- Your spot is freed
Less than 24 hours before class, or if you do not show up
No credit- Single class, paid by card
- Nothing
- Class from a pack
- The class counts as used
- Membership
- Counts as attended
Packs and memberships are coming soon. This is how canceling will work for them.
If María cancels a class
Everyone booked in the class automatically gets 100% of what they paid back as credit. Classes from a pack go back to the pack.
You will also get a message with a Want cash back? button. If you choose it, the part you paid by card goes back to your card. Anything you paid with credit stays as credit. The amount that goes back to your card cannot be more than the credit you have not used yet.
How credit works
- Credit is always based on what you actually paid, never the regular price. For example, a pack class that cost you $12 is worth $12 in credit, not $15.
- If you paid for part of a class with credit, the percentage applies to the total you paid (credit and card together), and all of it comes back to your account as credit, following the rules above.
- Credit does not expire.
- Credit is applied automatically when you book, before your card is charged.
- You will see the amount before you tap Cancel.
- María can always make an exception, for example for illness or an emergency.
Waiver and minimum age
Before your first booking you read and accept a waiver, in your language. You check a box that says you have read it and agree, and you type your full name as your signature. If the waiver changes, you sign the new version at your next booking.
You need to be at least 14 to book, and each class has its own minimum age, which can be higher because it depends on the activity. If you are 14 to 17, a parent or guardian must sign too, and you can only book classes that are open to your age.
At checkout
When you book, you check a box to confirm you have read and agree to this cancellation policy. We keep a record of the version of the policy and the date and time you accepted it.

Cancellation policy
Version 2If you cancel
- More than 48 hours before class: you get 100% of what you paid, as credit.
- Between 48 and 24 hours before class: you get 50% of what you paid, as credit.
- Less than 24 hours before class, or if you don't come: no credit.
Credit is based on what you actually paid (by card and with credit), not the list price. Before you confirm a cancellation, the app shows you how much credit you will get. Once a class has started, it can no longer be cancelled.
Your credit does not expire, and it is applied automatically to your next booking before your card is charged.
If we cancel a class
- You automatically get 100% of what you paid, as credit.
- If you would rather have your money, tap "Want cash back?" in the cancellation message and we return to your card what you paid with it. Anything you paid with credit stays as credit. We can't return more than the credit you have not used yet.
- If you paid outside the app (cash or Zelle), we return that payment to you directly.
We can make exceptions in special cases, such as an illness or an emergency.
